Audrey convinced Nancy, the mother, and she agreed to let them go to the celebration, for she would work. Oliver and Audrey they attended the party, in which a Protestant group known as the Shankill Butchers attacked all partygoers. Audrey made Oliver safely locked in a room, but Audrey decided to go help her boyfriend Laurie, whom she was pregnant. However, Butchers killed Audrey mutilating her body in front of Oliver, who could not leave the room in which Audrey put him. Génesis 9:6 En 1972, Oliver Leonidas y su hermana Audrey fueron invitados por amigos católicos de la familia Leonidas  para celebrar el día de San Patricio en una casa. Audrey convenció a Nancy, la madre, y ésta accedió a dejarlos ir a la celebración, pues ella trabajaría. Oliver y Audrey asistieron a la fiesta, en la cual, un grupo Protestante conocido como los Carniceros de Shankill atacaron a todos los asistentes a la fiesta. Audrey puso a Oliver a salvo encerrándolo en un cuarto, pero Audrey decidió ir a ayudar a su novio Laurie, de quien estaba embarazada.
