BEYOND THE TIME: 

EPISODE III. - ACUTE EAR

Appear in the laboratory, Lucy, Jaroka, Henry, Luis, Ralph and George seated around the Professor, with the exception of Jaroka, who is listening the Prof. Standing up, all they dresses with their common clothes, whereas Ian waits for Jaroka in the door of the Laboratory. Ian arrives by Jaroka and takes her, later the others boys leave their things and they go away. Before the boys go away, the Professor says them that traveling in the time could bring them sequels.

In house of Lucy, Lila, her mother is vacuuming the room, Lucy arrives and she greets her of kiss, she leaves her backpack in the coach and she drops herself in this one. Lucy takes from her backpack out her Discman and she is put to listen them all volume, shortly after her mother pass vacuuming the room, between the noise hardly if is reached to listen the ring of the telephone which Lucy perceives and picks up, being a call of Luis and Ralph from a public telephone. Lucy perceives the voice of Ralph in spite of the noise. Both they hang up and the mother of Lucy stops aspiring and account occurs that Lucy was speaking on the telephone. Lucy listens the sound of the truck of the trashes that comes two streets in front of where Lucy lives, she takes from the hand to Lila and they leave her house but they see anything. Then, they both observe the truck of the trashes far. Then Lucy worries because she did not listen so shrewdly when she awoke.

The Professor visits Lucy and Lila and after reviewing to Lucy, he discovers that the eardrum of Lucy is grown too much and for that reason Lucy listens until the minimum sound. Lucy shows not to feel uncomfortable and she asks the Professor who leaves her the ear one day more. This same night, Lucy listens the conversations of all the neighbors where Lucy and her mother they are the principal subject.

The next day, Lucy must expose with Alice and in the exhibition Lucy listens the sounds that her partners do when they write, chew chewing-gum or they murmur. Lucy falls in a faint and she is taken the infirmary and after there the laboratory where the Professor will inject her substance. Nevertheless, the substance was robbed.

Henry and George they talk about the disappearance of the bottle with the substance of the Professor, and they conclude that Ian could do it. Henry asks for revision of lockers where they discover that the broken bottle is in the locker of Jaroka. Jaroka is taken to the Principal´s Office along with Ian, since a wound in the right hand makes suspect to everybody of the complicity of Ian in the robbery of the substance.

In the laboratory, the Professor prepares a new substance for Lucy, and he asks the boys who help him to find the person in charge of the robbery of his substance. Henry asks the Professor that uses Lucy then this one has an acute ear which they can use to discover the true thief.

George and Ralph they visit the nursery where the doctor tells them that Ian went to see requesting him aid because he had cut himself with a glass, although the Doctor thinks that Ian was cut with a metal.

Luis visits the manager, Mr. Tobbie who tells Luis which before they were of vacations he lost the keys of the lockers and the laboratory.

Lucy and Henry they walk by the hallways of the school, Lucy listens a call of Ian with Julian Mattews, father of Jaroka and owner of W& PC. Where Ian says his Boss he has what he asked. Henry strikes by surprise Ian and later between all the boys take him to laboratory.

In the laboratory, Ian confesses to have robbed the substance by orders of Julian Mattews, the boys make deals with Ian so that he does not bother them more and he allows speaking them with his girlfriend in exchange for the vaccine against tetanus, because Ian cut himself the hand when putting the bottle in the locker of Jaroka.

Lucy is injected by the Professor having recovered her capacity to hear. Then, Professor, Henry and Lucy visits Julian Mattews in W& PC, where the Professor asks Julian that does not bother them more or otherwise, the true owner of W& PC, Cilian Mattews will know the dirty businesses of his son Julian.

In the house of Henry, this one looks in his notebook that the acts of prevent that Ralph change the history and to help Lucy with her acute ear, these act are disappearing of the notebook, Mark arrives and he asks Henry that he take care of himself, because he saw him enter in W & PC. Since Julian never remains calm regarding to want to obtain something.

Finally, Julian asks Ian that be ready then as later as his task begins of knowing thorough the project Professor Strambotik and use it for their approval.
